I drive a Jeep. So, naturally, when project redesign-car-brochure was assigned, I chose the brand new Commander. Jeep’s version of the Hummer. The original brochure had great photos, so I borrowed them for the product shots and specs for the content of the brochure. But something wasn’t quite right — the original design was too, well, street. Too luxury, too high-class. Snobby. Jeeps aren’t snobby. I opted to target another market: offroaders. Why have a Jeep if you can’t adventure every once in a while? The background throughout the brochure is made from a scan of an authentic trail map of Bedford County, PA. Mud included.
